The indicator is covalently bonded to the plastic strip and will
not bleed into the test sample. Strips measure 7/32 wide x 2 15/16
inches long. Turbid or weakly buffered solutions can be readily

connector. Operates on 9V battery, included. Five year warranty on
meter. Range 0-14 pH to 0.01 pH, 0-1999 mv to 1mv and 0-100°C to
0.1°. Designed so that the meter can be calibrated and used without
removing it from the case. Kit comes in a foam lined, zippered,

pH Meter
ISFET, Sentron 1001. The Sentron 1001 pH system offers solid-state design and
portability. Its unique non-glass probe replaces fragile glass
electrodes with a sturdy silicon ISFET microchip that responds
instantly. Powered by a standard 9V battery, the Sentron 1001 is
at home in the lab, on the line, or in the field. The probe stores
dry, and has no glass to break, so you can take the system
anywhere. The unique properties of ISFET technology make the probe
resistant to clogging and allow you to test just about
anything-from clear liquids to dirty samples, to bread dough. Even
samples as small as a drop. To clean it just rinse with water. For
oily or especially dirty samples you simply brush it with a soft
bristle toothbrush. Sensor, reference, and automatic temperature
compensation (ATC) in one 9.5 mm probe that fits into the smallest
standard test tube. One or two point calibration and calibration
memory. pH 2, 4, 7, 10, 12 buffer recognition. Up to 5
measurements of pH/Temperature can be stored in sample memory.
